Distance Learning

Maysville Community & Technical College's (MCTC) Distance Learning program provides you with alternatives to the traditional on-campus or extended campus classroom settings. These courses are equivalent to their classroom components in credit hours, transferability to other institutions, and fulfilling many program degree requirements. Students may register for any Distance Learning courses in the same manner as registering for other MCTC courses.

MCTC recognizes that all students have both rights and responsibilities that encompasses every aspect of student life and activity. In recognition of those rights the college has established adequate procedures for addressing written complaints when student rights are believed to be violated. Procedures for addressing academic and non-academic student complaints are outlined in the Code of Student Conduct and the Student Academic Planner. Student’s may review the Code of Student Conduct and the Student Academic Planner on-line at http://maysville.kctcs.edu/Current_Students. All academic and non-academic appeals are handled from the delivering college’s campus.

MCTC uses Blackboard for our course management system. To log-in to Blackboard, go to www.elearning.kctcs.edu and log-in using your PeopleSoft username and password.

Tutorials for logging on, uploading assignments, etc. may be found at www.kctcs.edu/distancelearning.
