SCC’s Vocal Ensemble auditions for 2008-2009 Season are May 8

SCC’s award-winning Vocal Ensemble, a select group of ‘a cappella’ singers, announces auditions for the upcoming Fall ’08 / Spring ‘09 season. Auditions will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in SCC’s Stoner 102--located on the Somerset Campus North. The audition consists of learning part of a madrigal as a group and then singing it in a quartet. Music will be provided.

Vocal Ensemble has an established reputation for excellence. In addition to local performances, the choir has competed twice in an international choral festival in Verona, Italy and came home both times with a bronze trophy.
