Somerset Community College Theatre will endeavor to serve the community with a community based educational and cultural program that will prepare its participants to further their education or career. It will also assist its participants in the life-long learning process.
To offer an Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in Theatre Arts. This degree is designed to put community college students on track for a Bachelor's degree at a four year institution or to enrich their lives with a community based education that will aid thelife-long learning process.
To involve college and high school students as well as adult members of the community in a season of live theatre and video projects that will provide a creative outlet for participants and audiences.
To develop an arts education outreach program that will enrich the lives of all segments of the community.
