Teen Theatre Festival Policies
- A student is limited to one audition within a category.
- A student is limited to two audition categories at the Festival.
- A single school is limited to four slots within any single category.
- In order to claim an audition spot at the Festival, participants must have completed the individual registration forms and have paid the $10.00 individual registration fee per category entered. Students must also claim their slots on the morning of the Festival before 9:30 am. Any slot not claimed by 9:30 a.m. may go to students on the waiting list.
- All schools that attend the Festival must have at least one parent or sponsor/teacher on campus during the day of the Festival who serves as the guardian for the students of the participating school.
- The first two rounds of auditions are closed. Only one sponsor will be allowed to accompany a participant to the first round. No one but the participant will be admitted to the second round of auditions. The performance finals are open to the public.
- There will be no videotaping or photographing of performances at any level. Videotaping and photographing of non-performance events at the Festival is permissible.
- All decisions regarding awards given at the Festival are final.
- SCC Theatre reserves the right to refuse invitation of a winning audition to the Showcase Performance if the content of the performance is deemed inappropriate.
- Any schools or individuals lodging complaints regarding the Festival or any teacher or student of another school must do so through the Somerset Community College Theatre Coordinator.
- All fees received by SCC Theatre are non-refundable.
