WHAT: The Kentucky Community and Technical College System will announce a new scholarship program funded by the PNC Foundation. The new program –  PNC Skilled Workforce Investment Scholarship Program – is designed to assist the financial needs of students in high-wage, high demand  workforce programs with plans to transfer to a four-year university. In the Louisville and Lexington markets, preference will be given to  students seeking education for high-quality jobs in advance manufacturing, pursuant to the Bluegrass Economic Advancement Movement (BEAM).
