New Student Orientation

The Somerset Community College Orientation Program provides information to the beginning college student about the transition to post-secondary education. It also assists the student in setting and achieving his or her educational goals.

Orientation is conducted preceding the fall, spring and summer terms. It is offered several times with the student assigned a date to attend. Once the student has applied for admission, information concerning orientation will be mailed to the student.

Information about college life helps the student understand the college atmosphere. Some of the topics covered:
